LIKE A FOX THAT PREYS ON A RABBIT
Not much left to say about this party after all this time. This party. The kids get younger every year, pogo-ing higher, more faster, with more to live for. We have become dinosaurs or worse, sometimes we are junk mail addressed to the dead. But this party is a, a ritual, I guess, at this point, one that has been very kind to both older folks and younger folks as they continue to slowly become whatever this band has made them in the last decade or will start making them as soon as this party closes down (still!). And dear heart it will be lovely to see you again. This tape is designed for your warmup to, no fooling, one of the purest punkest parties this place has to offer in 2008. This tape is for this Saturday at 7pm, while veging out flat and saving energy, or flicking eyeliner, or taking early drugs, or watching American Gladiators waiting for dark with jitters, or three-legged wonk dancing with arms over roommate shoulders, or crush talking, or remembering, and smiling, and smiling.
